About the Role
As a Legal Contracts Senior Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner in managing the full life-cycle contract administration for our U.S. government and commercial clients within the energy and infrastructure sectors. This role is critical for mitigating risk and ensuring compliance across diverse global operations.
You will navigate the complexities of both federal and commercial landscapes. On the commercial side, you will manage contractual aspects for multilateral donors, foreign governments, and private firms, conducting due diligence on potential partners and advising on foreign registration requirements. On the federal side, you will support the Department of State prime contract lifecycle, managing grants, subcontracts, and compliance reviews in accordance with federal regulations.
This position requires a unique blend of legal acumen and business development support. You will review solicitations, negotiate agreements, and provide essential compliance guidance to staff and subcontractors. Your work will directly influence how we engage with clients and manage risk in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that often involves navigating regional contexts and local sensitivities.

- check_circlePrepare, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, and teaming agreements ensuring compliance
- check_circleSupport business development by reviewing solicitations and providing contract guidance to staff and partners
- check_circleSupport legal and contractual aspects of project administration for Department of State federal contracts
- check_circlePrepare, negotiate, and review grants, subcontracts, purchases, and intercompany orders
- check_circleProvide compliance support for grants under Department of State contracts in accordance with federal regulations

- check_circleConduct compliance reviews for large procurement packages involving equipment, supplies, and technical services
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in law, business administration, or related field
- verifiedMinimum 10 years of federal and commercial contract management experience
- verifiedExtensive knowledge of federal contracting regulations, policies, and procedures, including the FAR, AIDAR, and FTR
- verifiedStrong understanding of commercial contracting principles
- verifiedAdvanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
Nice to Have
Experience with various multilateral development bank contracting regulations. Experience with contractor approved purchasing and automated systems. J.D., degree in paralegal studies, or Certified Federal Contract Manager. Ability to work in French and/or Spanish.
