The Kitchen Manager serves as the operational leader for all kitchen functions, ensuring the seamless execution of food purchasing, preparation, and quality maintenance. This role exists to maximize profitability while strictly adhering to state and local health code regulations. You will be the guardian of our culinary standards, responsible for monitoring Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) through daily inventory control and safeguarding our proprietary recipes.
In this position, you will manage the full lifecycle of kitchen operations, from training staff on the safe and careful cleaning of equipment to resolving food quality complaints. You will work closely with the General Manager to review expenditures against budget limitations and utilize historical business data to create efficient weekly work schedules. The Kitchen Manager ensures sufficient coverage to meet service standards while fostering a collaborative atmosphere among managers, kitchen staff, and dining room personnel.
