As a Sous Chef, you will live out 452 Hospitality by delivering warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for every guest and client. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you will supervise and participate in creating competitive, high-quality products for events and food service locations. This role is vital for ensuring the culinary team operates with precision, from assisting in menu pricing and estimating food consumption to demonstrating new cooking techniques.
In this position, you will foster a culture of growth by training, coaching, and counseling team members while resolving operational challenges. You will oversee quality, product levels, and inventory, incorporating sustainable resources into culinary selections. Your day will involve managing employees in compliance with state and federal laws, responding to guest requests to ensure client satisfaction, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. You will also support the management of payroll and controllable profit within established guidelines.
