About the Role
As a Host, you are the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in setting the tone for the entire dining experience. Your warm and welcoming demeanor creates the initial impression, while your organizational skills ensure efficient seating and guest satisfaction. You will be the conductor of the front-of-house, managing the flow of guests, coordinating with servers and kitchen staff, and ensuring that every visitor feels valued from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleCommunicate special requests and guest preferences to servers and kitchen staff
- check_circleProvide information about menu items, daily specials, and promotions
- check_circleHandle guest inquiries, concerns, or special requests with professionalism
- check_circleMaintain effective communication with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff
- check_circleKeep track of waiting guests and notify them when tables are ready
- check_circleKeep the host stand and waiting area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- check_circleSeat guests according to seating charts and server rotation to optimize turnover
- check_circleWelcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude upon arrival
Nice to Have
Familiarity with reservation systems or software. Previous host/hostess experience.
