About the Role
As the first connection in our private psychiatric practice, you will serve as the vital link between our patients and our clinical team. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a small, close-knit environment and is eager to support a compassionate, respectful atmosphere. You will not only manage the front office operations but also gain unique exposure to innovative treatment options.
You will collaborate closely with our psychiatrist to manage patient records, triage incoming calls, and document clinical concerns. A key part of your day involves receiving on-the-job training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine) therapy protocols, allowing you to enhance your role within the practice while supporting cutting-edge care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCollaborate with the psychiatrist to manage patient records and document clinical concerns in the EHR
- check_circleAnswer, screen, and document phone calls while coordinating follow-ups and provider communication
- check_circleConfirm appointments, manage rescheduling, and follow up on no-shows to ensure continuity of care
- check_circleCoordinate prescription prior authorizations with pharmacies and insurance providers
- check_circleOperate standard office equipment and assist with basic administrative duties
- check_circleReceive training in TMS and Spravato therapy protocols to support innovative treatment options
- check_circleServe as the first point of contact for patients while gathering and communicating their needs
- check_circleGreet patients, verify registration forms, and process payments efficiently
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (can be obtained after hire)
- verifiedExperience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and medical scheduling software preferred
- verifiedPrior experience in a behavioral health, psychiatric, or private practice setting is a plus
