The Driver Supervisor serves as a critical leadership link between the company and its driver workforce. This position is dedicated to overseeing a specific group of drivers, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of safety and compliance. The role exists to maintain high standards of performance, manage dispatch logistics, and uphold strong labor relations within the framework of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
As a leader in this role, you will manage the day-to-day functions of the driver team, from onboarding and training to performance monitoring and retention. You will act as the primary point of contact for driver concerns, utilizing data from tools like DriveCam and customer feedback to provide constructive development. The position requires a balance of operational oversight and diplomatic engagement, ensuring that all personnel adhere to DOT and FMCSA regulations while maintaining a positive working environment.
Candidates selected for this role will be eligible for an annual performance bonus of 10%. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals with strong operational experience, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
