About the Role

The Property Tax Director serves as a strategic leader within the Property Tax practice, overseeing Senior Managers and Managers to deliver high-quality consulting and appeal services. This role is pivotal in bridging technical expertise with business growth, ensuring the delivery of excellent client service while driving revenue and profit for the firm.

In this position, you will actively pursue new client opportunities and nurture existing relationships. Your day-to-day involves enforcing policies and standards, researching complex tax issues, overseeing real property valuations, and negotiating settlements for assessment reductions. You will lead the preparation and presentation of assessment appeals and supporting litigation, ensuring superior knowledge in assessment review and valuation is applied to every engagement.

Beyond client work, you will be responsible for cultivating a positive team environment. This includes supervising and mentoring team members, ensuring compliance with firm policies, and distributing workloads effectively. You will also build the firm's eminence by leading internal training, speaking at external events, and contributing to professional organizations.
