Why Ryan?

At Ryan, we foster an award-winning culture built on our core values: Pursue Excellence, Wired to Win, Generosity Matters, Build Trust, and Integrity Always. We are committed to creating positive team member experiences that drive both personal growth and firm success.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your life and career, including:

About the Role

The Property Tax Director serves as a strategic leader within our Property Tax practice, overseeing Senior Managers and Managers to deliver high-quality consulting and appeal services. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between technical tax expertise and client relationship management.

You will actively pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. Your day-to-day involves enforcing firm policies, researching complex tax issues, overseeing real property valuations, and negotiating settlements for assessment reductions. You will also lead the preparation and presentation of assessment appeals and supporting litigation. Beyond technical execution, you are responsible for cultivating a positive team environment that translates into excellent client service and drives revenue and profit for the firm.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with exceptional people skills. Successful team members embody Ryan's values and demonstrate unwavering accountability.

Hiring Process

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate leadership, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills. The selection process will evaluate your technical expertise in assessment review and valuation, your ability to manage ambiguity, and your capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with professionals at all levels.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Ryan is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of disability or veteran status.
