Customer Service/Sales

About the Role

Customer Service/Sales associates are the face of our store, dedicated to providing fast, friendly service by actively engaging with customers to assess their needs. In this role, you will learn our product tools and processes to guide customers through entire projects, from greeting and qualifying needs to recommending solutions and closing the sale. You will also gain familiarity with adjacent departments to ensure a seamless experience for every shopper.

Beyond sales, you play a vital part in maintaining the store environment. You will be responsible for keeping assigned areas in-stock, clean, shop-able, and safe. This includes following all safety policies, completing required training, and proactively correcting hazards or reporting unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty to ensure a secure environment for yourself, your co-workers, vendors, and customers.

Team & Departments

You will work in close cooperation with your Department Supervisor and associates across various departments. Depending on business needs, your specific focus may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, or Tool Rental.
