Pro Experience Managers (Pro XM) are vital members of the store leadership team, dedicated to elevating the customer experience for professional contractors. This role serves as the bridge between store operations and the unique needs of Pro customers, ensuring that the Pro department runs with efficiency, accuracy, and a customer-first mindset.
In this position, you will drive sales and loyalty by managing the Pro area to minimize wait times and ensure all equipment and signage are ready for use. Your day-to-day involves executing strategies to increase Pro Xtra signups while maintaining strict adherence to safety and operational standards. You will act as the Manager on Duty (MOD), overseeing opening and closing processes, validating deliveries, and resolving complex customer concerns to guarantee a speedy and accurate experience.
Beyond customer service, you will be a champion for your team. You will coach and train associates on company policies, safety procedures, and service standards, fostering a culture of safety and high engagement. By partnering with Store Leaders, Outside Sales, and Specialty Managers, you will help shape Pro strategies and ensure the department is fully aligned with store priorities.

Education: High school diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year prior merchandising and/or operational experience. At least 1 year leadership experience, preferably in big box retail. Knowledge of the home improvement industry.
