As a Cashier at Walgreens, you are the face of our brand, responsible for modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, engaging them with courtesy and efficiency while ensuring their needs are met from the moment they enter the store.
Your day-to-day involves more than just processing transactions. You will greet customers, offer assistance with products and services, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience. You will also share customer service best practices with your team, demonstrating key interpersonal habits like proactive help and attentive listening. From managing the cash register and handling returns to maintaining clean, well-merchandised shelves and constructing promotional displays, you play a vital role in the store's operations and asset protection.
Additionally, you may assist with specialized tasks such as photo services, web pick-up orders, and ensuring compliance with state laws regarding regulated products. Your contributions help maintain a respectful, orderly environment for both customers and coworkers.
We are looking for individuals who are fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. While six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens work experience are preferred, we value your potential and dedication.
