Customer Service Associate - Temporary

About the Role

As a key member of our store team, you will be the face of Walgreens, modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your primary mission is to ensure every customer interaction is courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient. You will engage with customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving issues to guarantee a positive experience.

Day in the Life

Your day involves more than just processing transactions; you will be responsible for registering sales, collecting cash, and handling exchanges or refunds with precision. You will actively recommend items, trade-ups, and companion products to enhance the customer's purchase. Beyond the register, you will maintain a clean and well-merchandised environment by keeping counters and shelves organized, constructing displays, and managing inventory.

You will also play a vital role in asset protection and compliance, ensuring adherence to state and local laws regarding regulated products like alcohol and tobacco. Your responsibilities extend to the photo area, where you will provide digital passport services and promote photo products, as well as managing web pick-up orders to ensure customers receive their items promptly. Additionally, you will assist with store maintenance, ensuring both the interior and exterior remain neat and orderly.

Training & Development

We are committed to your growth. You will attend training sessions and complete required Personal Performance Learning (PPL) modules assigned by your manager or corporate leadership to continuously improve your skills and service delivery.

Hiring Process & Application

To join our team, you must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. While we prefer candidates with six months of retail experience or prior work experience with Walgreens, we are dedicated to providing opportunities for growth.
