About the Role

As a key member of our store team, you are the face of Walgreens, responsible for modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your role goes beyond processing transactions; you engage with customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving issues to ensure every interaction is positive. You will share customer service best practices with your team, embodying our service traits such as offering help proactively, identifying needs, and servicing until satisfaction is achieved.

Day in the Life

Your day involves providing courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at the assigned cash register. You will recommend items for sale, including trade-up and companion items, while accurately processing purchases, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges. Beyond the register, you maintain a clean and well-merchandised environment by keeping counters and shelves tidy, taking inventory, and constructing displays for promotional and seasonal merchandise.

You will also handle specialized tasks such as assisting with the separation of food items, managing stock rotation using the first-in, first-out method, and providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photos and creative machine services. Additionally, you may assume web pick-up responsibilities, monitoring orders in Picture Care Plus and delivering them to customers upon arrival. Throughout your shift, you will implement asset protection procedures, ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. While prior retail experience and familiarity with Walgreens are preferred, we are committed to finding the right fit for our team.
