About the Role
As a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger, you will be the face of our store, creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Your primary mission is to establish and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that encourages customers to return. You will demonstrate our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others in every interaction.
In this role, you will bag groceries with care, ensuring items are packed securely without damage while adhering to best practices for various bag types. You will assist customers by removing merchandise from their carts, offering help with loading bags into their vehicles, and answering questions about products throughout the store. Beyond the checkout lane, you will contribute to store operations by performing shelf conditioning, returning merchandise, gathering carts, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store. You will also reinforce safety programs, adhere to food safety regulations, and support a cooperative, high-paced environment.
