About the Role
The CNC Laser Operator is a vital part of Anchor Fabrication Kansas, supporting our mission to produce high-quality parts that meet strict customer specifications. This role exists to ensure precision in our manufacturing process, transforming raw materials into finished components through skilled operation and vigilant quality control.
In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC laser machines. Your day involves interpreting work orders, blueprints, and drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machine sequences. You will manipulate machine controls to index the laser head, adjust speeds for variances, and perform necessary measurements using hand tools and gauges. Beyond operation, you will maintain a clean and safe work area, conduct basic preventative maintenance, and detect equipment malfunctions or material defects to ensure continuous production flow.
