About the Role
Our client, a global manufacturer of precision sheet-metal products, is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join their winning team in Atlanta. This role sits at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service, serving as the critical link between product deployment and long-term customer success.
You will be responsible for the installation of new products, servicing existing equipment, and providing technical support via phone or email. By expertly managing the final steps of product deployment and ongoing maintenance, you ensure that customers receive top-notch support and that products perform optimally. Your work directly enhances customer loyalty and drives the company's reputation for excellence.
As a professional company representative, you will act as the face of the organization at customer locations. Your day-to-day involves reading blueprints and schematics, documenting machine data and service history, and assisting customers with parts identification. You will also demonstrate products to support sales efforts and communicate regularly with regional managers to ensure customer expectations are met. This position requires significant travel, domestically up to 100% and occasionally internationally, to support service areas across the country.
