About the Role
Our client, a global manufacturer of precision sheet-metal products, is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join their winning team in Queens. This role sits at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service, serving as the critical link between product deployment and long-term customer satisfaction.
You will be the face of the company at customer locations, responsible for the installation of new products, servicing existing equipment, and providing technical support via phone or email. By expertly managing the final steps of product deployment and ongoing maintenance, you ensure that products perform optimally, thereby enhancing customer loyalty and driving the company's success. As a professional representative, you will read blueprints and schematics, document service history, and assist customers with parts identification and ordering. The role also involves demonstrating products to support sales efforts and communicating directly with regional managers to ensure all customer expectations are met.
This position requires significant mobility, with domestic travel up to 100% and occasional international travel to support service areas. You will work in diverse environments, including facilities with dust, odor, oil, fumes, and noise, and must be comfortable lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.

Requirements
