About the Role
The Field Service Technician serves as a critical link between Uniloy, Inc. and its global customer base. This role is dedicated to ensuring the reliability and performance of blow molding equipment by responding to service requests across the United States and internationally. Technicians will handle everything from urgent repairs and breakdowns to routine maintenance and equipment upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
Based out of our Tecumseh, Michigan plant, you will also perform duties within various areas of the facility. Your work involves commissioning new machinery, assembling retrofit packages, and installing aftermarket parts to expand customer infrastructure. As a self-starter in a fast-paced environment, you will troubleshoot complex mechanical and hydraulic systems, read technical schematics, and communicate effectively with customers to resolve operating errors and implement solutions.
Work Environment
This position operates within a manufacturing and warehouse setting. The role involves exposure to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, and potential hazards such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, and painting. Maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations is essential for success in this environment.
