About the Role
The Restaurant Assistant Manager (RAM) is a vital partner to the Restaurant General Manager, working together to develop a team of dedicated people while driving top-line sales. This role exists to ensure outstanding service and satisfied guests by learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems effectively.
In this position, you will set and meet goals for service, operations, and financial results. You will be responsible for training and coaching your team, utilizing GPS Hospitality Systems to run a great restaurant every shift, and implementing strict controls over cash and inventory. The RAM will maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensure compliance with all government regulations and food safety policies, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. This is a hands-on role where you will work all shifts as required, set an example of operational proficiency, and receive a performance-based bonus tied to both operational and financial success.
