As a Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will join a dedicated group focused on delivering great and friendly guest experiences while driving top-line sales.
The Restaurant Assistant Manager (RAM) plays a vital role in supporting the Restaurant General Manager in developing a team of dedicated people. This position is about learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems effectively to achieve goals, develop talent, and provide excellent service. You will be responsible for ensuring your team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests, while setting and meeting goals for service, operations, and financial results.
In this role, you will utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to run a great restaurant every shift, every day. You will implement critical controls, particularly regarding cash and inventory, and work to maintain positive food and labor variances. A key part of your day involves training and coaching the team, providing feedback, and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. You will set an example by maintaining an excellent working knowledge of restaurant operations and ensuring all operational standards—including speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness—are met. You will also work all shifts as required by the business and follow all government regulations and employment laws.
