This role is for a relationship-oriented professional who excels at building deep trust with plant managers, maintenance departments, and engineers. Your objective is not cold-calling; it is to serve as the trusted technical advisor our clients rely on for their most demanding equipment needs.
You will act as the primary technical point of contact for steel mills across the Midwest territory. Your day-to-day involves conducting site visits to "hot end" environments to identify equipment wear, campaign life extensions, and safety improvement opportunities. You will manage the full sales lifecycle, from identifying requirements to coordinating with internal fabrication and engineering teams, while staying embedded in the steel and power generation sectors to anticipate large-scale capital equipment replacement cycles.
