About the Role
As a Beauty and Wellness Consultant, you will be the face of our beauty department, dedicated to maximizing sales and brand awareness through exceptional, personalized customer care. This role exists to provide impartial expertise and inspirational beauty knowledge regardless of a customer's brand preference or budget. You will model a distinctive and delightful customer experience, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression.
In this position, you will go beyond simple transactions to become a trusted advisor. You will engage customers by identifying their unique needs, offering warm transfers when necessary, and providing solutions for their total look, including mini-makeovers and skincare consultations. Using tools like the Skin Hydrometer and tablets, you will deliver product demonstrations and lead in-store events to promote brand loyalty. Your day will be defined by building authentic relationships, fostering a collaborative team environment, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and organization within the beauty department.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma/GED
- verified1 year retail sales experience OR 1 year beauty/cosmetic sales experience

- verifiedLicensure in Cosmetology or as an Esthetician (Preferred)
- verifiedDegree from Beauty School (Preferred)
Nice to Have
Licensure in Cosmetology or as an Esthetician as granted by appropriate state licensing authority. Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community, and with vendors. Experience demonstrating makeup application and providing makeovers to customers. Experience selling Prestige brands. Degree from Beauty School. Experience with another retailer in the form of an Externship.
