About the Role
As a Beauty and Wellness Consultant, you will be the face of our beauty department, maximizing sales and brand awareness by delivering exceptional, personalized customer care. This role is designed for individuals with a genuine passion for beauty and wellness who can provide inspirational expertise regardless of a customer's brand preference or budget.
In this position, you will go beyond simple transactions to offer solutions for total beauty and wellness needs, including mini-makeovers and skincare consultations. You will model a distinctive and delightful customer experience, utilizing tools like the Skin Hydrometer and tablets to provide expert product demonstrations. Your day will involve engaging with customers to identify their needs, leading in-store events to foster brand loyalty, and building authentic relationships that encourage repeat visits. You will also play a key role in maintaining the highest standards for the beauty department, ensuring a clean, organized, and hygienic environment while collaborating with store leadership to review business performance and sales goals.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma/GED
- verified1 year retail sales experience OR 1 year beauty/cosmetic sales experience

- verifiedFluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- verifiedLicensure in Cosmetology or as an Esthetician (Preferred)
- verifiedDegree from Beauty School (Preferred)
Nice to Have
Licensure in Cosmetology or as an Esthetician as granted by appropriate state licensing authority. Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community, and with vendors. Experience demonstrating makeup application and providing makeovers to customers. Experience selling Prestige brands. Degree from Beauty School. Experience with another retailer in the form of an Externship.
