As a Beauty and Wellness Consultant, you will be the face of our beauty department, dedicated to maximizing sales and brand awareness through exceptional, personalized customer care. This role is designed for individuals with a genuine passion for beauty and wellness who thrive on providing inspirational knowledge and expert advice. You will go beyond simple transactions to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, offering solutions for total looks through mini-makeovers, skincare consultations, and product expertise.
In this position, you will engage with customers to identify their unique needs, utilizing tools like the Skin Hydrometer and tablets to provide tailored recommendations. You will model best practices in customer care, proactively offering assistance and fostering authentic relationships that encourage loyalty. Whether leading in-store events to promote brand awareness or collaborating with store leadership to review business performance, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our beauty department. You will also serve as a mentor to new consultants, sharing your knowledge of industry trends and product launches to help the entire team succeed.

Licensure in Cosmetology or as an Esthetician as granted by appropriate state licensing authority. Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community, and with vendors. Experience demonstrating makeup application and providing makeovers to customers. Experience selling Prestige brands. Degree from Beauty School. Experience with another retailer in the form of an Externship.
Skills: PC, Tablet, Cosmetology, Esthetician, Makeup Application.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Degree from Beauty School preferred.
