About the Role

This role is dedicated to creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. You will establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. Working alongside the department manager, you will assist in reaching sales and profit goals while monitoring all established quality assurance standards.

Your day will involve creating an environment where customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store. You will gain and maintain knowledge of products to respond to questions and make suggestions, while also labeling, stocking, and inventorying department merchandise. You will stay current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads, and promote sales through intercom announcements.

Safety and integrity are central to this position. You will model excellent customer service, demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety, and reinforce safety programs by complying with procedures and identifying unsafe conditions. You will also ensure that all current merchandising, customer service, cash control, labor control, expense, supply controls, loss prevention, maintenance, and engagement rules are followed.
