About the Role
Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking dedicated Airport Ramp Agents to support operations at Lihue Airport (LIH). In this non-driving position, you will serve as a critical link in the aviation logistics chain, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of passenger baggage, air cargo, and airmail. Your work directly impacts the customer experience by safeguarding travelers' belongings from weather, loss, theft, and damage while maintaining the rigorous security standards required for airport operations.
As a Ramp Agent, your day involves a dynamic mix of physical activity and procedural precision. You will be responsible for directing aircraft servicing activities, loading and unloading cargo into aircraft bins, and utilizing computer systems to track and catalogue luggage. Whether working the A.M., P.M., or overnight shifts, you will coordinate the movement of freight and company materials, ensuring all paperwork and records are accurately completed to meet company and regulatory requirements.
Hiring Process & Requirements
To join our team, candidates must meet specific pre-employment prerequisites to ensure safety and compliance. This includes passing a pre-employment drug screen and a background check covering up to 10 years. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess valid authorization to work in the United States. Successful candidates will also complete necessary ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
