About the Role

The General Merchandise and Food Sales team is dedicated to enabling a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. As an Inbound Expert, you will be an expert in operations, process, and efficiency, leading inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and presentation processes for all General Merchandise areas.

No two days are ever the same in this role. You will own the pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work, ensuring efficient delivery to our guests. You will also support Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food-safe experience. Your day will involve executing detailed sorting operations, stocking and organizing reserve product, and maintaining product availability on the sales floor. You will operate powered equipment, handle defective merchandise, and process environmentally sensitive items in compliance with laws and regulations.

Beyond operations, you will be a vital part of our guest-first culture. You will create a welcoming experience by greeting guests, engaging with them to solve specific needs, and thanking them for choosing Target. You may also support guest services such as backup cashier duties, order pickup, and Drive Up, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws while helping our community.
