The Workday HRIS Lead serves as a strategic architect for our people technology ecosystem. In this 6-12 month contract role, you will be responsible for reinventing how our systems and processes meet the organization's strategic and operational needs. This position goes beyond standard administration; it requires a hands-on approach to configuring Workday modules and architecture while developing a comprehensive HRIS technology roadmap.
You will act as the bridge between complex business problems and high-quality technical solutions. From strategy to execution, you will manage the full lifecycle of HRIS development, implementation, and maintenance. Your day-to-day involves optimizing daily operations, managing system integrations and data flows, and overseeing the ticket queue to ensure seamless functionality. You will also provide cross-functional expertise to the business, handling complex data management queries and advanced reporting requirements while managing relationships with SaaS providers to ensure our solutions remain technologically current.
This is a remote position with a hybrid requirement. You will be based remotely but must be available for one week of onsite work in the San Francisco Bay Area to kick off the engagement.
Candidates with a strong track record of accountability in simplifying and automating the end-user experience are encouraged to apply. We are looking for individuals who can navigate ambiguous problems and foster collaboration while adhering to data governance standards.
