About Lennar

Lennar is one of the nation's leading homebuilders, recognized as a Fortune 500® company and consistently ranked among the top homebuilders in the United States. We are dedicated to making an impact and creating an extraordinary experience for our Homeowners, Communities, and Associates. Our mission is built on creating quality homes, providing exceptional customer service, giving back to the communities we work and live in, and fostering a culture of opportunity and growth for our team throughout their careers.

About the Role

The VP of Land Development is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing field operations and personnel within the land development department. This role exists to create opportunities that align with the company's land development strategies while maintaining a deep understanding of current market trends in land development and homebuilding. You will serve as the bridge between the development department and construction, ensuring that lots are delivered correctly to specifications and that the vision for new communities is realized from permit approval through final certification and community turnover.

In this position, you will manage the full lifecycle of land development projects, including entitlement budgeting, NPDES and SWPPP compliance, and the coordination of complex site improvements such as grading, utilities, paving, and landscape features. You will lead, coach, and mentor a team of Project Managers and field personnel, driving efficient solutions that create organizational value. The role requires a hands-on approach to resolving issues with agencies, negotiating utility agreements, and ensuring seamless operations between the Land Development and Builder areas of responsibility.

Hiring Process

Candidates interested in joining Lennar should apply through our official career channels. The selection process typically involves a review of qualifications followed by interviews with key stakeholders to assess leadership capabilities, technical expertise in land development, and cultural fit. For the latest opportunities and to connect with our team, please visit our LinkedIn page or the Lennar overview portal.

Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to enhance well-being and professional growth, including robust health insurance (Medical, Dental, and Vision), a 401(k) Retirement Plan with a $1 for $1 Company Match up to 5%, and Paid Parental Leave.

We also offer an Education Assistance Program, up to $30,000 in Adoption Assistance, and generous time-off policies including three weeks of vacation annually. Associates enjoy unique perks such as significant Home Purchase Discounts, a New Hire Referral Bonus Program, and the "Everyone's Included Day."
