About the Role
We are looking for a Land Development Project Manager to join our winning team. The right candidate will be responsible for managing vendors and contractors to develop raw land for home and amenities construction in new communities. This role is critical to enabling the construction of finished lots and ensuring our communities are built to the highest standards.
You will serve as the bridge between design and execution, overseeing the development and scheduling process for infrastructure installation. From preparing home construction lots to managing model homes, landscaping, parks, and amenities, you will ensure projects stay on the critical path. Your day will involve meeting with jurisdictional officials, collaborating with civil engineers, and working directly with subcontractors to resolve site issues and maintain accurate "As-Built" plans.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleReview civil improvement plans, geotechnical evaluations, and project specifications to deliver finished lots
- check_circleOversee development and scheduling for infrastructure installation, landscaping, and amenities construction
- check_circleTrack and communicate key milestones to internal departments and external stakeholders
- check_circleAssist Project Managers with civil engineers for plan clarification and revisions
- check_circleRepresent Land Development management in on-going site issues with homebuilding superintendents
- check_circleOversee and approve field purchase orders and track market pricing for budget development
- check_circleEnsure compliance with all local, state, and national codes, ordinances, and regulations
- check_circleMeet with jurisdictional officials during civil construction, inspection, and infrastructure installation
- check_circleCalculate quantities from construction plans for budgeting and bidding purposes
- check_circleManage subcontractor relationships and assist in the bid, review, and award process
- check_circleMaintain accurate project schedules and critical path sequences while identifying and reporting delays
- check_circleDevelop contract scopes of work, pay-scales, and assemble bid packages for bidding
Requirements
