The VP, Human Resources, Customer Service serves as a strategic business partner to primary clients across the US, while collaborating globally with teams in India and the Philippines. This role is designed to drive critical thinking and execution across key priorities, including Strategic Workforce Planning, Career & Skill Development, HR Operational Excellence, Employee Experience, Engagement, and Performance Management. The position acts as a vital connector, working closely with global HR teams to ensure seamless alignment between operational servicing and broader business strategies.
As an agent of change, you will lead the US Hub HR team in implementing business and HR strategies that support Synchrony's values and "Way of Working." You will partner with leaders to foster a culture of meaningful engagement, manage employee relations proactively, and drive culture shifts to meet long-term business goals and cost targets. This role requires navigating a fast-paced, high-change environment to deliver high-quality HR services while rigorously managing compliance with employment laws and internal policies.

Demonstrated strength in coaching, employee relations, and conflict resolution. Proven experience as an effective business partner for senior levels. Experience within financial services and/or customer service organizations. A minimum of 2 years' experience working with remote/virtual teams. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Experience with regulations such as OFCCP audits, EEOC Complaints and resolutions, and AAP reporting. Master's degree in human resources or a Business-Related Field. Strong influence and change management skills. Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and deliver high quality HR services in a fast-paced, high-change environment.
