About Medtronic

At Medtronic, you can begin a life-long career of exploration and innovation while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. We lead global healthcare technology and boldly attack the most challenging health problems facing humanity by searching out and finding solutions. Our mission—to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life—unites a global team of 95,000+ passionate people. We are engineers at heart, putting ambitious ideas to work to generate real solutions for real people. From the R&D lab to the factory floor, every one of us experiments, creates, builds, improves, and solves. We have the talent, diverse perspectives, and guts to engineer the extraordinary.

A Day in the Life

The Employee Relations (ER) Partner is responsible for building strong relationships between employees and managers through a proactive, strategic approach. You will identify higher-level employee relations trends, recommend solutions that address root causes, and partner with leadership on execution. Acting as a neutral key partner to site-level managers, you will drive employee relations strategies while maintaining the ER function at assigned locations.

You will work directly with leaders, managers, and employees to provide advice and coaching on all employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary processes, legal matters, investigations, and conflict management. Your goal is to ensure a fair and consistent approach to Medtronic's policies, promoting a positive culture while minimizing risk. As a single point of contact, you will utilize skill, tact, persuasion, and negotiation to resolve matters efficiently.

This role requires close collaboration with the in-house legal team, Human Resources Business Partners, and the wider HR community to deliver a consistent ER service that aligns with business needs. You will analyze trends in employment practices, recommend proactive actions, and facilitate the prompt resolution of workplace conflicts using techniques such as mediation and conflict coaching.

At Medtronic, we bring bold ideas forward with speed and decisiveness to put patients first. In-person exchanges are invaluable to our work. We are working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration. This US-based role is located in Boulder, CO, with travel to and support for Parker, CO, and Louisville, CO. The position is on-site and requires flexibility to support a 24x5 operation.

Hiring Process

The application window for this opening will close on May 20, 2026.

In addition, Medtronic will provide reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities.

We consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act for positions involving work in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.

At Medtronic, we are committed to fostering an environment where employees can thrive. In alignment with our enterprise-wide workforce planning approach, U.S. work authorization sponsorship (H-1B, TN, J, etc.) is offered exclusively for Principal-level roles and above.
