At Banfield Pet Hospital, we are dedicated to improving the lives of pets and the people who love them. Our mission is grounded in the Five Principles of Mars, Inc., which guide our culture of integrity, quality, and service. As part of our veterinary team, you will exemplify these values while working alongside veterinarians and technicians to deliver exceptional care.
This position serves as the vital support system for our veterinary professionals, acting as their extra eyes, ears, and hands. You will ensure the smooth flow of patients while maximizing the productivity of the veterinarian and veterinary technician. Your day will involve performing and preparing procedures that do not require direct veterinary assistance, managing client and pet comfort, and monitoring hospitalized or surgical patients in accordance with state practice acts.
Beyond clinical duties, you will be a trusted advisor to pet owners, educating them on Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, and hospital services. You will also play a key role in maintaining a safe, sterile, and organized environment, utilizing proper restraining techniques and adhering to strict safety protocols. As a mentor to other paraprofessionals, you will help foster a collaborative and efficient team culture.
If you are a current associate, please apply through our internal career site by logging into Workday and navigating to the Jobs Hub app or searching for "Browse Jobs." For new applicants, please follow the standard application procedures on our careers portal.
