About the Role

As a Locum Veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital, you will serve as a vital advocate for pets, providing preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse range of animals. This role exists to ensure that every pet receives exceptional medical attention while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compassion. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through their pet's health journey with clarity and empathy.

In this position, you will manage a dynamic caseload that may require flexibility with hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of our clients and the volume of patients. Your day will involve performing basic surgeries, administering treatments, and collaborating with a veterinary medical team to execute comprehensive care plans. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in educating clients on preventative care and hospital services, ensuring they feel confident in the treatment recommendations provided.
