About the Role
This position is located at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Lahaina, Hawaii. As a key member of the Food and Beverage & Culinary team, you will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Your day will involve operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, including dish washing machines and pot-scrubbing stations, while managing the flow of clean and soiled wares. You will be responsible for receiving deliveries, storing perishables properly, and rotating stock to maintain quality. Beyond equipment, you will clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, tools, and utensils, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both guests and staff. This role requires physical stamina to move, lift, and carry objects up to 50 pounds, as well as the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. You will work collaboratively with the team to reach common goals, using clear and professional communication to support a positive work environment.
