The Unit Associate is a vital member of the healthcare team, responsible for a wide variety of tasks that ensure the safe and efficient delivery of care to patients. This fast-paced position requires close collaboration with Nurses and the Unit Coordinator to maintain operational readiness.
Your day-to-day impact involves stocking items in Pyxis and supply carts, monitoring expiration dates, ensuring patient rooms are fully equipped with necessary supplies and linens, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. You will be the first line of defense in identifying clinical and environmental emergencies, following established procedures to keep the unit running smoothly.
This is a night shift position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role operates on a rotating schedule, covering every other weekend and every other holiday.
