The Unit Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of healthcare services to patients. Working within a fast-paced environment, this position requires close collaboration with Nurses and the Unit Coordinator to maintain operational readiness. The role is designed to support the hospital's mission of serving the community through equitable healthcare delivery and workforce practices.
A typical day involves a variety of tasks essential to unit operations. Associates are responsible for stocking items in Pyxis and supply carts, monitoring expiration dates, and ensuring patient rooms are properly supplied with linens and equipment. The role also includes restocking supply rooms and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Please note that the Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed to meet operational demands.
