About the Role

As a Truck Driver at XPO, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples, to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials in all weather conditions. This role is designed for those who enjoy a dynamic work environment and take pride in providing excellent customer service, which includes generating sales leads. You will also handle the physical aspects of the job, such as loading and unloading freight, and operating heavy equipment like forklifts.

The position is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt role with a night shift schedule. You can expect to work flexible hours, often up to 12-14 hours a day, including weekends. The role requires significant physical activity, including lifting objects up to 50 lbs (occasionally greater), moving converter dollies, and sitting for extended periods while driving or operating machinery. You will be expected to work outdoors in inclement weather and navigate various surfaces, including uneven or slippery ground.
