Traveling Retail Merchandiser

SAS Retail Services is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traveling Retail Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in executing merchandising strategies across various retail locations nationwide. Your mission is to ensure that products appear in the right store, or on a website, at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely with buying teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels, and monitor performance.

As a traveling merchandiser, your day will take you to different retail locations to conduct merchandise resets and ensure proper placement according to planograms. You will serve as the on-the-ground voice for the brand, reporting product replenishment needs and customer concerns in a timely manner. The role requires installing and maintaining store fixtures, visual displays, and promotional materials, as well as performing product demonstrations to educate customers and increase sales when necessary. Success in this position relies on your ability to collaborate with store managers and team members to optimize merchandise presentation and customer satisfaction while maintaining high standards of field communication with regional management.

While certification in Visual Merchandising or related fields is an asset, it is not mandatory. Proficiency in using handheld technology and applications, along with a basic understanding of planogram and store layout design, will help you thrive in this dynamic role.
