About the Role
SAS Retail Services is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traveling Retail Merchandiser to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will execute merchandising strategies across various retail locations nationwide, ensuring products appear in the right store or on a website at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities.
You will work closely with buying teams to forecast trends, plan stock levels, and monitor performance. Your day-to-day involves traveling to assigned locations to conduct merchandise resets, ensuring proper placement according to planograms. You will also install and maintain store fixtures, visual displays, and promotional materials, while performing product demonstrations to educate customers and drive sales when necessary.
Success in this position requires strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining flexible to frequent changes, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using handheld technology and applications, along with a basic understanding of planogram and store layout design, is essential. Certification in Visual Merchandising or related fields is an asset but not mandatory.
