About the Role
SAS Retail Services is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traveling Retail Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in executing merchandising strategies across various retail locations nationwide. You will help ensure that products appear in the right store, or on a website, at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities.
This position involves working closely with buying teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels, and monitor performance. As a traveling professional, you will visit assigned retail locations to conduct merchandise resets and ensure proper placement according to planograms. Your day-to-day activities include installing and maintaining store fixtures, visual displays, and promotional materials, as well as performing product demonstrations to educate customers and increase sales when necessary.
You will serve as a key liaison between the field and store management, collaborating with store managers and team members to optimize merchandise presentation and customer satisfaction. Timely reporting of product replenishment needs and customer concerns is essential, as is maintaining high standards of field communication and coordination with regional management. The role requires adhering to all company policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe and professional work environment.
