Traveling Retail Merchandiser

About the Role

SAS Retail Services is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traveling Retail Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in executing merchandising strategies across various retail locations nationwide. You will help ensure that products appear in the right store, or on a website, at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely with buying teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels, and monitor performance.

As a traveling team member, you will visit multiple locations to conduct merchandise resets and ensure proper placement according to planograms. Your day-to-day involves installing and maintaining store fixtures, visual displays, and promotional materials, while also performing product demonstrations to educate customers and drive sales. You will serve as a key liaison between the field and regional management, reporting replenishment needs and customer concerns in a timely manner while collaborating with store managers to optimize presentation and satisfaction.

Qualifications & Application

While a certification in Visual Merchandising or related fields is an asset, it is not mandatory. We value strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks with flexibility, and excellent communication abilities. Proficiency with handheld technology and a basic understanding of planogram design are essential for success in this position.
