Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care on a 31-bed Critical Care Stepdown / PCU unit
- check_circleManage patients with diagnoses including post-vascular surgery, CVA, and heart failure
- check_circleAdminister and monitor cardiac drips and manage chest tubes as part of routine care
- check_circleMaintain patient ratios of 1:4–1:5 while delivering safe, high-quality care
- check_circleOperate Baxter IV pumps and occasional epidural pumps for patient treatment
- check_circleDocument all care accurately within the Meditech EHR system
- check_circleCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient support
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN license in good standing
- verifiedADN or BSN required
- verifiedMinimum 1 year of RN experience
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedCurrent NIHSS certification
- verifiedExperience with cardiac drips
- verifiedExperience with chest tube management
- verifiedAbility to work night shifts
- verifiedAbility to work every other weekend
Nice to Have
2+ years of RN experience, prior experience in a Critical Care Stepdown, PCU, or IMC setting, experience with TR (transradial) bands, and familiarity with Meditech EHR.
