About the Position
Cynet Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical team in Elkader, IA. This 13-week contract role focuses on delivering comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population of medical and surgical patients. The position is designed for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute effective patient care plans.
In this role, you will manage patient conditions, administer prescribed medications, and assist with diagnostic tests. A key component of the position involves educating patients and their families on health management and discharge planning. You will be expected to maintain accurate patient records while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. The shift schedule covers days from 05:45 AM to 06:15 PM, with a requirement for weekend availability (2 out of 6 weekends).
Hiring Process
Candidates must possess a current RN license and specific certifications including BLS and NIHSS. To complete onboarding, successful applicants will need to demonstrate proficiency in ACLS, Pharmacology, and complete a Skills Checklist and Specialty Exam. Weekend availability is a mandatory requirement for this assignment.
