About the Role
This position offers a 13-week travel opportunity to join a supportive team at a Level II Trauma Center in Florence, Alabama. You will provide direct patient care on a 31-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Critical Care Stepdown serving adult and geriatric populations. The unit manages complex cases including post-vascular surgery, post-CABG, CVA, respiratory failure, heart failure, chest pain, and post-cath lab care.
In this role, you will manage cardiac drips, monitor chest tubes, and operate specialized equipment like Baxter IV and epidural pumps. You will collaborate closely with a team of professionals, maintaining patient ratios of 1:4–1:5. The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week and occasional weekend rotations. While the focus is on the PCU, occasional floating to med-surg may be required.

Requirements
