Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide patient care on a 55-bed Med Surg Orthopedic unit
- check_circleFloat to other MedSurg units as required
- check_circleDocument patient care using EPIC electronic medical records
- check_circleAdminister titratable drips including Heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine
- check_circlePerform hourly rounding and ensure patient responsiveness
- check_circleParticipate in unit-specific orientation and pass skills exam
- check_circleMonitor and interpret telemetry strips
Requirements
- verifiedValid nursing license
- verifiedBLS certification (American Heart Association)
- verifiedMinimum 2 years medical surgical nursing experience
- verifiedAbility to read telemetry strips
- verifiedDriver's license
- verifiedVirginia Blue scrubs
Nice to Have
ACLS certification, experience handling titratable drips such as Heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine, and familiarity with electronic medical records system EPIC.
