Key Responsibilities
- check_circleTitrate IV drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
- check_circleManage and monitor patients using ventilators, CVPs, A-lines, Swans, and CRRT equipment
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians and residents to deliver high-quality team-based patient care
- check_circleFloat to all inpatient units as needed, excluding Maternity and NICU
- check_circleRead and interpret cardiac telemetry strips independently without dedicated monitor techs
- check_circleProvide direct patient care to adult and pediatric ICU patients with critical diagnoses
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN license in good standing
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedCurrent NIHSS certification
- verifiedAbility to read and interpret cardiac monitor strips independently
- verifiedPass open-book skills orientation exam with 90% or higher
Nice to Have
Experience with neuro surgery, thrombectomy programs, or neuro interventional care. Familiarity with advanced hemodynamic support devices such as Impella or intra-aortic balloon pump. Experience with CRRT, rapid transfusion protocols, or hypothermia management.
