Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- check_circleTitrate vasoactive drips including vasopressors, insulin, heparin, and sedatives
- check_circleMonitor, read, and interpret telemetry strips independently
- check_circleManage and troubleshoot respiratory equipment including ventilators and BiPAP
- check_circleCollaborate with charge nurses, hospitalists, and E-ICU staff for critical care coverage
- check_circleFloat to PCU and medical floors as needed based on unit requirements
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN licensure
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedCurrent NIHSS certification
- verifiedExperience in an ICU setting
- verifiedAbility to titrate vasoactive drips
- verifiedPass unit-specific skills exam with 90% score
Nice to Have
Prior experience with ventilator management and BiPAP in an ICU environment. Familiarity with neuro, cardiac, and sepsis patient populations. Experience working alongside E-ICU support models.
