Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency dedicated to connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States. We specialize in placing clinicians in travel nursing jobs, allied health travel assignments, and local contract opportunities within hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient settings.
Our mission is simple: match you with the right assignment, in the right location, at the right pay. Whether you are an experienced traveler or taking your first assignment, Healthforce provides the support and opportunities you need to build a sustainable travel healthcare career.
This opportunity places you in a hospital setting in Honolulu, Hawaii, as a Registered Nurse within the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). As a travel nurse, you will provide direct patient care for critically ill patients, requiring rapid response to changes in condition and collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team. The role involves managing invasive lines, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring, with a specific focus on delivering high-quality care in a Level I Trauma Center environment.
You will be part of a team that values flexibility and support. While the primary focus is MICU care, you may float to ICU, Stepdown, or Telemetry units based on facility needs. If RN coverage is not required on a specific unit, the assignment may include nursing assistant or safety sitter duties. This 16-week assignment offers guaranteed hours and the chance to work in a dynamic, high-acuity setting.
To apply, please submit your credentials, including a current NURSYS report, to Healthforce Healthcare LLC. All licenses and certifications must be valid through the duration of the initial contract. Compliance with credentialing requirements must be completed no later than 10 days prior to your start date.
Once you apply, you will be connected with a dedicated recruiter who will stay with you from submission to start. We offer 24/7 support throughout your assignment and assistance with credentialing and licensing to help you meet start-date requirements. If you are interested in this role or other travel nursing openings, please apply and explore additional assignments at Healthforce Healthcare LLC.
