About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Honokaa, Hawaii. In this Long Term Care role, you will provide skilled nursing care to residents, ensuring their health, comfort, and well-being. You will oversee patient care plans, administer treatments, and monitor for changes in condition while collaborating with healthcare teams to provide high-quality, resident-centered care. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssess patient health and monitor for changes to ensure well-being
- check_circleDevelop and implement personalized care plans with residents and families
- check_circleAdminister medications and treatments safely and accurately
- check_circleProvide skilled procedures including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management
- check_circleEducate residents and families on medications and chronic condition management
- check_circleDocument care provided, resident progress, and health changes in a timely manner
- check_circleRespond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams for critical care
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure comprehensive care
- check_circleAdhere to facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
- check_circleSupervise and support LPNs and CNAs while delegating tasks appropriately
Requirements
- verifiedOne year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
- verifiedValid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- verifiedCurrent BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- verifiedACLS Certification
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- verifiedProficiency in PC skills
